Graduation

Each student must meet a minimum of 100 credits earned to obtain an Alberta Education High School Diploma. Most courses are five credits (one credit = 25 hours of instruction). Credits are earned from Grade 10 to Grade 12. In the case of a transfer, the principal of your school would transfer your credits into an Alberta equivalent so no years of schooling are lost in Alberta. To graduate, you must meet the following criteria to graduate.
