What Is It?

When a student signs up to take part in the Warner Flight School, they will be placed in family homes in the area. Sometimes, this is called billeting. Students will live in this home as part of the family. Many times, lifelong friendships are formed after living with a family, such as this, for a year. In August, students will travel to Warner to meet their homestay family. For the next 10 months, this family will become the student’s home. Both students and homestay parents will fill in a small survey in an attempt to best pair up students with host families.
